Quixote Software is a leading provider of software solutions for Business Practice Management with a specialization in managing chiropractic offices. The Quixote software-designed to impact its clientele's bottom line and increase patient satisfaction-required feature enhancement and maintenance to stay competitive and keep the customers satisfied. After careful evaluation, the client outsourced the new feature addition and maintenance work to us. They were impressed with our approach, particularly our local account management and offshore project execution.
To cater to the needs of our client, we suggested the creation of a stabilization plan to reduce the effort required for maintenance and support, and a plan for developing new features. We began working as per these plans after the client approved them.
Development Process and Result
The local account manager constantly communicated with the client and ensured a seamless dialogue between its team and the offshore project execution team. Our team thoroughly analyzed the application and cleaned up the application code to conform to the client's desired standards. The application was stabilized and after the already installed client base was given the updated software, the result was a significant reduction of the maintenance effort.
